I just received this open letter from Ursula, a painter and supporter of Valentino Rossi. Ursula drew a cartoon showing Valentino Rossi and sold on Ebay five T-Shirts where she printed the self-drawn cartoon on it. Ursula now shall pay a ruinous 4141 Euro fine for the work of the Munich based law firm Ihr Anwalt24 Rechtsanwalt AG, which has a contract with Precisport, S.L. to punish infringements of trademark rights. Is this the way, Valentino Rossi likes his supporters to be treated?

Dear Mister Juan Pablo Molinero, dear Mister Valentino Rossi,

please,can you help me, I do not know what to do.
This drawing printed on a T-Shirt I sold by an online-market for 17,90 Euro.
I sold 5 of this Shirts in the time of Juli 2005 - March 2006.
Now a lawyer from Munich, RA Zierhut wants over 4141 Euro for having sold my painting
titled as V. Rossi.
I never will do this again, I was a fan from Mister Rossi since 1996 ( every race
I watched him by Tv) and for beeing a fan,I painted him and I didn`t know
that I was not allowed to write his name.
I will never do this again, I will never sell something with the great driver on it.
If you want, you can have the original painting.
I`m a painter for over 30 years now and it is very hard to earn money with this work,
sometimes I didn`t know how to buy shoes for my three children…
It seems that I have made a big mistake, please don`t punish me so hard, I do not know how
to pay for my mistake, I only have pictures, not money.
I will never do this again. Please excuse me for doing wrong. I«m so depressed.
